“Service comes from a place of love” and with that philosophy as his touchstone, Dr. Gullion treats patients with the most advanced scientific breakthroughs delivered with compassion and love. Each day Dr. Gullion wears a heart pin reminding himself and everyone the healing power of compassionate care. He finds working with cancer patients and their families most rewarding.

Dr. Gullion oversees the Healing with Hope Integrative Oncology program at California Cancer Care, and he supports his patients who wish to enhance their medical treatment with complementary therapies. Under Dr. Guillion's supervision, California Cancer Care has expanded its Healing with Hope program to include a variety of therapies ranging from guided imagery to massage therapy. Dr. Gullion completed his undergraduate degree at Kenyon College , Gambier, Ohio with Cum Laude distinction. He then earned his Medical Degree from the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Columbia University , New York , NY. For his Internship and Residency, he chose Moffitt Hospital , University of California Medical Center School of Medicine, San Francisco where he was named Chief Resident in Medicine. He augmented his training at the USPHS National Institutes of Health, National Cancer Institute, Bethesda , Maryland as a Clinical Associate, Leukemia Service and in the Laboratory of Molecular Pharmacology .

Dr. Gullion sees patients in the Marin office in Greenbrae , California . He is an experienced internist Board Certified in Medical Oncology and Hematology as well as Internal Medicine. He is currently involved in private practice after nearly two decades at University of California , San Francisco involving private practice and academic appointments including Director of CME with responsibilities for research, teaching and administration. He has extensive clinical trial experience. To date, he has been involved in over 200 various ongoing Clinical Phase I, II, III and IV Pharmaceutical Oncology trials as a subinvestigator.

Dr. Gullion considers sailing and skiing as his personal refuges. A dedicated family, he and his wife, Linda Joy, have a son and daughter.
