Clinical Trials

Our Clinical Trials

We at California Cancer Care feel that, in most cases, the most optimal treatment of a patient involves enrolling in a clinical trial.  Participation in clinical trials in oncology and hematology has many benefits, which include ensuring that: 1) our patients are offered the most cutting-edge available therapies, 2) are followed using well-established and strict protocols to minimize side effects and maximize anti-cancer effects, and 3) allows cancer research to proceed forward to benefit current and future generations of cancer patients.

Therefore all physicians at California Cancer Care are active investigators and participants in numerous cooperative group studies and pharmaceutical company protocols.  We have access to many clinical trials through the Southwest Oncology Group (SWOG), the National Surgical Adjuvant Breast and Bowel Project (NSABP), and the Radiation Therapy Oncology Group (RTOG).  There is a good chance that you may qualify for one of our many available clinical trials.

The list of available clinical trials is constantly changing, and we ask that you contact us by phone at 650-341-9131 to inquire about our currently available studies.  If you would like more general information about clinical trials online, we refer to you the National Cancer Institute’s Website:
